At Everglade Care, we prioritise our children's safety and well-being. Our mission is to create a secure and nurturing environment that fosters growth and development. Our main goal and philosophy at Everglade Care is to offer a structured, caring and nurturing environment in which all of the children’s individual needs are met. This provides them with an opportunity to meet their full potential in all aspects of their life. We strive to instil a basic understanding of life skills in order for children to have a variety of options once they reach adulthood.
Our Ethos and Values
Our values ensure that we gain the right people who really care about children and reinforce their understanding with our therapeutic parenting and trauma informed training.
We believe with the right amount of structure, boundaries, love, trust and genuine connections, all children can thrive and our ethos reflects this. We also believe in education and restorative support over punishments towards children.

Who Are We?

Everglade Care is a small company, ready to open our very first children's home. We believe that every child deserves to be loved and experience the same opportunities as those children who live with their families. Our first home is opening this Autumn in Doncaster. We have an experienced Responsible Individual who has previously achieved Good outcomes for children supporting our dedicated, kind and helpful Registered Manager.
Meet Our Team
Our Responsible Individual and Registered Manager have worked closely before on implementing a love led practice approach in children's homes and have been extremely successful in the outcomes gained from this.
Stuart
Responsible Individual
Stuart has previous experience supporting children's homes as a Responsible Individual, achieving good outcomes for children. Stuart is a qualified Social Worker who works independently.
Georgia Registered Manager
Georgia has worked in health and social care sector across many roles during her career with both adults and children with complex needs. Georgia has worked in Outstanding children's homes.

Our Home
Willow Cottage
Willow Cottage is a 6 bedroom large terraced house in Doncaster. The home can support up to 3 children to live there with emotional and behaviour difficulties up to the age of 18 years old. We pride ourselves on creating homely environments that replicate family homes rather than insitutionalised and clinical environments. We also avoid using institutionalised language and instead use loving words that are kind and helpful. Our home will run using Love led practice, where we support our children to feel loved and build genuine connections with Adults around them.
